The Georgia Agricultural Exposition Authority invites organized groups of children (minimum of 10 per group) to fish at the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter during National Fishing Month in June.
Who: Any organized group such as, but not limited to; Boy and Girl Scouts, Churches, Schools, Civic Clubs, etc. are welcome to attend.
*All children must be under the age of 16.
What: National Fishing Month here at the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter
When: Groups are allowed to fish Monday-Saturday, starting June 1-30. Fishing times are from 8:00 am-Until Dark.
Where: Catfish Pond located on the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter in Perry, Georgia.
All groups must send in an application to be reviewed and approved ahead of time. This will serve as your reservation. Group admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.PLEASE CLICK HERE TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION

The Agricenter encourages all groups to practice the “catch and release” method, so that everyone may enjoy their fishing experience. However, each child is permitted to take home up to 4 (four) fish.
Supervision is required for all groups attending a fishing day. You must provide all gear, bait and assistance for your group. Restroom facilities and picnic tables will be available on-site.
